ECS Prepaid is a privately held company with our home office in Springfield, Missouri. ECS Prepaid started in 2008 as a division of our parent company Electronic Check Services Inc that was established in 1997 in Springfield, Missouri.

ECS is an award winning company recognized both Nationally and Locally. ECS is a two time Inc. Magazine top 500 company awarded in 2009 and 2011. This distinction is given to the fastest growing privately held companies in the U.S.  Past winners include GoDaddy, Under Armour, Timberland, Intuit, Microsoft, and Jamba Juice just to name a few. In 2009 the Missouri Chamber of Commerce Recognized ECS as one of their Fast Track companies, an award given to the fastest growing companies in the State of Missouri. In 2011 the Springfield Business Journal named ECS after finishing as the runner up just one-year prior.
